About Pak Nam Pran, how to get from Bangkok to Pak Nam Pran

The province of Pranburi, where located Pak Nam Pran, lies on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand and is famous for its incredible nature and warm winds.

The most important thing about Pranburi is that this place has been chosen by the King of Thailand as his residence, so no wonder that it is very beautiful, quiet and there is a lot to do besides kitesurfing.

In short, there are really a lot of rivers, natural parks with forests, mountains, small islands and caves. So far, this place is not very common among tourists, which we are happy about, to be honest.

HOW TO GET TO PRANBURI, PAK NAM PRAN

You will most likely find no package tours to Pak Nam Pran in any travel agency of the world, so you will have to buy tickets and get to the province on your own. Do not forget to check visa politics towards the citizens of your country not to get any unpleasant surprises on arrival at the airport.

Stage one: flight

The first thing to do is to buy a ticket for a plane to Bangkok.

Stage two: taxi/ bus/ minibus

The most comfortable and the fastest way to get directly to Pak Nam Pran from Bangkok airport is to take a taxi. We can provide secure and reliable transfer for you, which will cost approximately 2500-3000Baht (around 80-95$). The whole journey will take 3.5-4 hours.

Second option is to buy a bus ticket from Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok to Hua Hin. But in this case you will have to take one more transfer: from Hua Hin to Pak Nam Pran (description how to do it you can find below). And it will take a bit more time (around 4-4,5 hours).

The bus departs from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 6:30, 7:30, 09:30, 11:30, 13:30, 15:30, 17:30, 19:30.

Ticket office, where you can buy bus tickets to Hua Hin are located on the first floor of Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK), near the counter number 8. Ticket costs 350 baht (around 10$). The passenger of the bus are allowed to carry 20 kg of free baggage (a small fee can be charged for extra baggage).

The road takes 3.5-4 hours. The bus is very comfortable and spacious, the seats can be compared to business class in the airplanes. There are toilets and air condition, so the time will pass with comfort.

!ATTENTION PLEASE! DO NOT FORGET TO BUY A SIM-CARD!

If you don’t want to waste money on roaming, you can get or buy the SIM-card at the airport.

How to do it:

Quite often Thai sim cards are issued to the tourists directly at the exit of the aircraft. Usually, you have 10 baht (0.30$) on your account. But if the sim-card wasn’t issued to you, do not worry, you can buy it at the 2nd level of Suvarnabhumi airport after passing customs at the exit to the city №3. The phone company is called TRUE MOVE. Sim card can be purchased for 40 baht or 360 baht. In the first case, the account will have no money and you will have to top it up in the same stall. In the second case, the account will be already with costs.

From Hua Hin to Pak Nam Pran

The village of Pak Nam Nam is located 30 km to the South of Hua Hin. You can get there either by taxi (usual price is 500-600 baht), or by the minibus.

The bus from the airport arrives at the new bus station in Hua Hin, next to Hua Hin airport.

Also note that our kite school can take care of all the questions concerning organization of your trip (flight tickets, transfer to the villa, accommodation for 2 weeks, rent of a motorbike).
